Born from the ancient ghats of Varanasi — a story of devotion, belonging, and the living wisdom of Kashi.
Moksha Walks was not built in a boardroom. It was born in the lanes of Kashi — in the narrow galis where milk vendors and marigold sellers weave past pilgrims and sadhus before the sun has touched the horizon.
We believe Varanasi is not a destination to be consumed but a living teacher to be listened to. Every ghat has a hymn. Every temple holds centuries of unspoken prayer. Every flame at Manikarnika carries a name.
We are spiritual, cultural, and historical journeys into the soul of Varanasi — seamlessly blending devotion with insight, curiosity with depth, and the ancient with the living present.
From the chants of dawn to the fires of liberation — experience Varanasi not as a destination, but as a doorway to the eternal.
" I don't show you Varanasi. I let Varanasi speak to you. "
Born and raised in the ancient lanes of Kashi, Shubham is not simply a tour guide — he is a keeper of stories. His childhood was woven into the rhythms of Ganga aarti, the whispers of temple priests, and the living mythology of a city that has never forgotten its past.
Formally trained in history and philosophy, Shubham bridges the gap between the scholar's knowledge and the insider's intimacy. He walks beside you through ghats and galis where history, devotion, and living wisdom converge — so every step feels less like a tour and more like a sacred conversation with the eternal city.
Whether you come as a pilgrim, a philosopher, a photographer, or a curious traveler — Shubham meets you where you are, and walks you deeper.
We are insiders, not outsiders looking in. Our guide was born and raised in Kashi — every story comes from lived experience, not a guidebook.
Maximum 8 people per walk, always. Because the soul of Kashi reveals itself in whispers, not shouted over a crowd.
We walk as guests in a living, breathing sacred city. Every entry is made with reverence. No intrusion. No spectacle. Only belonging.
Shubham led his first informal walk for a group of five travelers from Italy who had wandered into a chai shop at Assi Ghat. By the end, they wept at Manikarnika.
With 7 carefully designed sacred routes, Moksha Walks officially launched — blending spiritual depth with scholarly rigour in every step.
The pandemic stilled the ghats. We used the silence to deepen our walks — adding new routes, refining stories, and sitting with Kashi in her rarest form.
We crossed a thousand travelers transformed — from Paris, Milan, Toronto, São Paulo, and beyond. Every one a story. Every one a walk through eternity.
Varanasi has been a city of transformation for over 3,000 years. Pilgrims have come to shed the body. Scholars have come to seek the mind. We come to offer both — and invite you to arrive at your own understanding.
We do not impose meaning. We open doors. What you carry home from Kashi belongs entirely to you.
Every walk begins with a single step into the labyrinth. Let that step begin today.
